TLDR: We had the awesome opportunity to attend Sundance together this year and saw a bunch of movies, attended panels, partied, and even shot a short movie.
Park City has such cute and quaint vibe. The snow and lights made the experience that much more magical. It feels like everyone you meet there is a director, actor, cinematographer, production assistant, editor, producer, ETC. The list goes on, but everyone seems to be involved in the industry somehow. If we took a look at the body of work that is actually produced, I wonder what stories you'd find and what kind of inspiration you could draw.
For me the trip really underscored how much I like working with Andy, Tim, and Ronan, and spending time with them. How awesome is it that you get to hangout with good friends who have a shared interest in making stuff together while keeping inspiration lit? I'd wager you don't come across friends like that very often.
I think by watching the different ways of story telling and style, we left Sundance feeling inspired and motivated to make more films and tell more stories. We have agreed that we will probably be submitting a few projects next year. Perhaps you'll be seeing us at Sundance 2019! ;)
